Like most websites, sarling.com collects and makes use of the data contained in log files. This includes; your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and Internet Service Provider (ISP), the date/time you visited, where you found me, and which pages you visited throughout my site. This data is not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Mailing List
I would love to send you up to date news, offers and information as part of my e-newsletter. I may also want to inform you of any new designs or products I have for sale, or to download. To do this, I will need some personal information from you – your email address and your name. I use this data to email you about products I am selling, events I am attending, blogs I have written and anything else I feel is relevant or of interest to you. I may also contact you to check I have your information correct, or to check you are happy still receiving content from me. I will never give, sell, trade or rent any of your data to or with other organisations or businesses.

I use a third party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver the newsletter. Using Mailchimp’s reports on the email, I gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve our communication with you. I will not use the data you give me to subscribe to my newsletter in any other way. It will not be saved on any other system aside from the Mailchimp list you signed up for, and I will not transfer it to any other lists unless you allow me to do so.

You have the option to unsubscribe at any time from my mailing list, either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of my emails, by emailing sarling [dot] studio [at] gmail [dot] com or by going into your Mailchimp account and unsubscribing. Once you have chosen to unsubscribe from my emails, I will delete all data I have on you and it will be removed from my system permanently.

Your Data Protection Rights
You can:

• Choose whether or not you wish to receive material from me.
• Unsubscribe from my mailing communications by following the “Unsubscribe” link in the emails.
• Email me at sarling [dot] studio [at] gmail [dot] com in order to access, correct, delete or update your personal information. I’ll respond to your email as promptly as possible.
• [If I have collected your personal information on the basis of your consent] Withdraw your consent at any time.

Children
I believe it is incredibly important to protect children online. The parent/guardian is responsible for assessing content on sarling.com before granting their child access. I respect that this is a judgement call and leave it to the discretion of individuals. I will never knowingly collect any personal information from a child under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian believes that sarling.com has in its database the personally-identifiable information of a child under the age of 18, please contact me immediately (sarling [dot] studio [at] gmail [dot] com). I will promptly remove such information. A child aged 16 – 18 may join my mailing list, but only when written consent is provided from their primary guardian.
